I have always wanted my aspects to be individual from each other in similar ways to how they where all different in 2nd ed. They need to be more focused. This focus will make them more powerful at their tailored roll. To justify this I would also like to see the return of the unit size of 3-7 for all aspect squads. If we go the way of Exarchs still being part of the unit then the Exarch should be an ADD like warlocks are for guardians and not an upgrade. Adding an exparch would make the unit size 8. I would be happy to have the Exarch as an upgrade also keeping the unit size to 7.

Here are my praposed statlines and some reasionings

Dire Avenger

Dire Avengers are the base alround perfict warrior and should have the most rounded statline of the lot.

Striking Scorpion

Scorpions are Strength in Combat.

Howling Banshees

Banshees are the pure hand to hand specialests. As a resault the BS2 is a representation of them not using their pistols as a range weapon more than a deterant in combat. Some kind of special rule for this would be nice also.

Fire Dragons

Not realy sure how to justify this apart from that they need to not be as rounded as dire avengers.

Dark Rapers

In a similar way to banshees, Reapers would try to get out of combat and shoot rather than sit there and fight....

Swooping Hawks

Warp Spiders

This unit deals with the warp too much to be afrade of anything.

Shining Spears

Same as Dire avengers as I can not reduice any thing on them with out making them more usless. This is one unit that needs real work as in comparrison to guardian jetbikes they will rarly do better.

All units above will should have 4+ Aspect Armour base with the option of 3+ Heavy Aspect Armour that denys them Fleet USR. Attaching a Phonix Lord to the unit would allow them to Fleet reguardless of armour.

Every Aspect would need a reright of its special rules to make them realy stand out. Things like Fire Dragons should have Tank Hunter all the time and the ability to place their Melta bombs on walkers always using their WS.

Thoights and Ideas? Primarily on the Unit size in comparison to power.

To be honest, I don't think the Aspects need much changing - certainly not as radical as your suggestions. Some tweaks here and there and they are good to go. I shall post my own Fandex soon (just need to do some of FA and HS... and Warlocks).
