Daemon Engines Empty
PostSubject: Daemon Engines   Daemon Engines EmptyThu Dec 02, 2010 11:52 am

One of Chaos' most distinctive things is it's daemons, and of course -- Daemon Engines! I have loved daemon engines since Epic, where my squadrons of Towers of Skulls, Death Dealers, and Cauldrons of Blood where the bane of all that lived (at least in my gaming group). Currently, outside of Apocalypse, the Defiler is the only daemon engine out there. So, who wants to add some in? I'm focusing primarily on the old Epic ones, myself, but I don't see the need to limit ourselves. I think many of those can be shoehorned into standard 40K, though some will have to be Apoc.

Death Dealer
A powerful Daemon Engine of Khorne, the Death Dealer is a modified version of the Defiler. A bloodthirsty daemon is bound within the warrior-like chassis of the walker, which is then outfitted with multiple monstrous appendages. The Defiler’s battle cannon is replaced with the multi-barreled skullbreaker cannon, a frightening anti-infantry weapon designed to lay down a torrent of fire as the Death Dealer closes on its target.

Definitely want to make sure the Cult Legions have their Daemon Engines. The more religious Undivided as well of course will have more options for either neutral marked like a defiler or a variety for the Word Bearers and such.

Daemonic Hulls or whatever won't cut it.
